What makes my titanium necklaces for women different from most titanium jewelry on the market is the design. Most titanium necklaces out there look very masculine or industrial. Do titanium necklaces tarnish?

No, titanium does not tarnish, rust, or corrode. Unlike sterling silver, which needs regular polishing, titanium keeps its appearance over time with virtually no maintenance. This makes titanium necklaces a great long-term investment, especially if you want a necklace you can wear daily without worrying about discoloration.

Can I wear a titanium necklace in the shower or while swimming?

Pure titanium chain necklaces are perfectly safe to wear in the shower and while swimming. Titanium won't react to water at all. However, if your necklace has pearls or gemstones, it's best to take it off before showering or swimming and put it on afterward. Pearls and gemstones should not be soaked in water. What is the difference between a titanium necklace and a stainless steel necklace?

While both are durable metals, they're very different when it comes to allergies. Most stainless steel contains nickel as a hardening agent, which is the leading cause of metal allergies. Even "surgical steel" can contain enough nickel to trigger reactions in sensitive people. Pure titanium contains absolutely no nickel and is one of the safest metals for anyone with a nickel allergy or sensitive skin.
